Pet Adoptions

We occasionally are charged with the care of an animal that requires medical treatment but has no owner.  After we have restored these animals to full health, we work hard to find them a permanent loving home.  Our current residents up for adoption are listed below.

Three cats are currently being fostered at Green Mountain Veterinary Hospital who lived with an elderly woman who passed away.  They were previously indoor cats living together. Their exposure to dogs is unknown. We are helping Green Mountain by posting these cats on our website to help find them a loving home. While it would be wonderful to see them find a home together, they are of course up for adoption individually.

Adrian is a quiet 10-year-old male neutered Himalayan. He is a healthy senior cat who is missing most of his teeth, but this does not affect his eating habits. He is a little nervous in a loud environment, but did very well at home with his owner. He has spent his time completely indoors in a home with 3 other cats, one being his littermate Willy.

Maggie is a laid-back 8-year-old female spayed Maine Coon. She is very sweet and is a social butterfly.  She is currently a little overweight, but is doing well on her diet and is otherwise healthy.

If you would like to find out more information, see photos or visit any of these cats, please contact Green Mountain Veterinary Hospital in Manchester Center, VT at 802-362-2620.

Riverside requires an adoption application to be filled out at the reception desk; this will then be reviewed by the Riverside administrative staff for placement decisions.
